Listening to John Mayer's "The Heart of Life." Although parts of the song are sad, the title just rocks. The heart of life is SO full of goodness at the core. I experienced that in full this past weekend being a part of my best friend's wedding. Mary Gene looked absolutely stunning-more than stunning this weekend. The freshly wed Armstrongs are living proof that the heart of life is pure and sweet and everything lovely in this world, acknowledging the joy God provides amidst the both the bumps along the way and the good times. Life's heart beats in a rythym we can't understand, with unexpected outcomes around every bend. And that my friends, is why it is SO good. SO good. The heart of life is HUGE and to me most realized in a time of friends and family together, enjoying each other's company when we need it most-whether we realize it or not.
