You Never Know

Hi Y'all!

This is my first attempt at my very own blog-following suit after being so intrigued and impressed by those of Hannah and Lauren. For those of you who don't know Hannah & Lauren, they're some co-interns at Southern Progress Corporation, where I'm also interning (obviously) this summer!

I've found myself in the Marketing offices of Coastal Living magazine, which couldn't be more of a dream come true! You never know where life will take you, and I surely never thought this experience would come so soon!

You also never know what surprises God has in store. My grandma passed away this past weekend, and it was a beautiful funeral marked by the presence of family and friends. I really wanted her to meet the man I would marry and hoped to tell her that I graduated from Clemson, where I'd be living, all that jazz. God had a different plan, but boy was I glad to be only a short drive away for the funeral. Five hours was a huge difference from the California flight I might of had if life took me on a different path this summer. ANYWAY, all that to say I am SO thankful for the life of my grandma and to have been there to experience the loss of such a wonderful person with others who loved her just as much.

It's funny how life works. Celebrating birthdays, lives lived, and this coming weekend celebrating a best friend's wedding, all in a single week. The full circle is there for our viewing pleasure.
